It is here - in the Rocky Mountains, that rivers that feed subsequently three oceans arise. Rivers modestly form mountain lakes - unusually clean and beautiful. In the summer you can swim and sunbathe on their hospitable shores. And some aquiferous arteries do fall into waterfalls. The most noticeable attraction of the park is the Athabasca Glacier, one of the oldest on Earth. Its area is 200 km2, and its age reaches 10,000 years. To appreciate all the beauty of the park, you can choose one or more tourist routes. The total length of all hiking trails in the park is 1,200 km. Walking can be both on foot and horseback. But these are classes for the warm season. In winter, ski resorts open here - high-quality slopes of varying degrees of difficulty on natural snow, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, receive thousands of guests annually.
