Hong Kong History Museum
Hong Kong, Kowloon

This superb museum features 6,000 years of Hong Kong history, from ancient traces of human habitation and numerous Chinese dynasties to the founding of the British colony and the subsequent transformation of Hong Kong into one of the most prosperous cities in the world. The “highlight” of the exposition is archaeological finds from the Tang Dynasty kilns, as well as from the excavations of the Song and Ming dynasties.
