Wadi Rum Desert, also called "Moon Valley", is a nature reserve and is one of the wonders of the world. Wadi Rum belongs to the stony deserts where tourists can see the remains of ancient wells, cave paintings, bizarre cliffs and rocky bridges, desert oases, canyons, gorges, vast valleys covered with sand. Tourists are offered to visit the rocky bridge of Burda - the highest point of Wadi Rum, “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom”, Lawrence's Well, Nabatean Temple, ride a camel, fly a balloon over the desert, spend the night in a traditional Bedouin tent, woven from goat’s wool. Several Bedouin tribes live in the desert. Wadi Rum is the largest valley in Jordan with dried river beds, natural rocky isthmus bridges, high mountains and hills. Since June 2011, the Wadi Rum Desert has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
