Metula is a small resort town located in the Upper Galilee, near the Lebanese border, at an altitude of 530 meters above sea level. The town is located between the Naftali ridge, the Hula and Iyon valleys, as well as the Hermon mountain range, which is the highest mountain range and the only place in Israel where you can go skiing. The main occupations of the Metula population are horticulture, viticulture and animal husbandry. Metula has a huge Beit Canada sports and entertainment complex with Israel’s only ice rink, a large number of swimming pools, gyms and fitness centers. Metula is the northernmost town in Israel, a quiet, calm and very attractive place for tourists among the green landscapes of Galilee.
