The Staubbach waterfall is located near the town of Lauterbrunnen in the canton of Bern (Switzerland).
Its height is almost 300 meters. Until April 2006, it was the highest waterfall in Switzerland, until new dimensions put Zirenbach Falls in first place.
Due to the high height and structural features of the slope, the water at the end of the fall turns into a spray water cloud. After the rain and at the beginning of the season, when heavy snowmelt begins, the waterfall becomes a very bright object.
The waterfall can be observed not only from the outside, but also from the tunnel made in the mountain.
