The Uyazdovsky Castle Center for Contemporary Art is located in the south of the central part of Warsaw, not far from the Botanical Garden and between two picturesque parks - Lazenkov and Uyazdovsky. The Center for Contemporary Art was founded in 1985. The main goal of the center is the creation and presentation of contemporary Polish and international art, the promotion of innovative art experiments, research in the field of contemporary art. The program of the center includes theater, sculpture, music, cinema and literature. The Center for Contemporary Art hosts interesting exhibitions, concerts of contemporary music, visual theater performances, experimental film screenings, performances, and video art demonstrations. Since 1990, the Center for Contemporary Art has organized more than 600 exhibitions. Also in this center are master classes on creativity, art events of various genres and the implementation of many other interesting projects. Every year there are general education seminars and concerts of famous people in Warsaw. The center has a library that houses exhibition catalogs, magazines about contemporary art, and a video library with recordings of artistic events. The Uyazdovsky Castle Center for Contemporary Art attracts residents of the capital and all of Poland, as well as foreign visitors.
