Beaded cave temple (monastery of St. Anastasia)
Republic of Crimea, Bakhchisaray Raion

In a small gully of the Kachinsky valley the monastic monastery of St. Anastasia is located. A steep, winding “Sinner Trail” leads from the road to it, which the monks carefully laid out with tires. The main temple of the monastery is located in a cave, for many centuries it was a Christian monastery, during the Soviet period the temple was abandoned, only curious tourists looked here. Now the monastery is being revived, the temple has also been transformed - a small room carved into the rock, everything is fully decorated with beads: there are 500 bead lamps, hanging from the ceiling, beads are laid out Commandments, bead panels adorn the ceiling and walls. All this creates an unusual atmosphere in which man-made beauty is harmoniously combined with the beauty of the Crimean mountains.
