Su-Uchhan Waterfall
Republic of Crimea, Simferopol Raion

A powerful stream flows from the bowels of Kizil-Koba and, tearing off from a tufa site, cascades down, breaking into small waterfalls - this is Su-Uchkhan. This grandiose ledge was formed by the river itself, taking millennia from the bowels of the mountain dissolved lime and depositing it in the form of limestone tuffs. The total height of Su-Uchkhan cascades is more than 50 meters.
Translated from Turkic Su-Uchkhan "falling water", but there is another version of the translation - "The master of the three waters." This may be due to the fact that the river is fed from three sources. The largest of them is Kizil-Koba, from the north, in the middle - Alyoshin water, also flowing from the cave along the picturesque gorge, the third - along a fairly gentle gully - from the springs. Threads of ivy are skillfully woven into a stream of water, and the dark green velvet of moss perfectly frames the stream, emphasizing its crystal transparency and luster in the sun.
