Jungle Park (Orlov Park) is located in the southern part of Tenerife, 5 kilometers from the city of Arona and 7 kilometers from the popular resort of Playa de la Américas. The park was opened in 1995, covers an area of 75 hectares. The desert area on which the park is located was turned into real jungle with ponds, waterfalls, grottoes and lush tropical vegetation. The park is home to more than 300 animals and birds (about 100 species), including endangered white lions from South Africa, white tigers, leopards, black jaguars, cougars, primates (orangutans, chimpanzees, gibbons, capuchins, lemurs, squirrel monkeys and others), as well as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, meerkats, raccoons, porcupines, turtles, crocodiles. The park is rightfully proud of its "bird kingdom", here you can see eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons, as well as many exotic birds - African marabou, flamingos, ibis, herons, cockatoos, macaws, pelicans, toucans. For all the inhabitants of the park, conditions have been created as close as possible to their natural habitat. The legendary eagle show enjoys great popularity among adults and children - feathered predators to the music show their skills, hover over the arena in free flight, hovering over the heads of the audience. The highlight of the program is the performance of the bald eagle - at a steep peak, at a tremendous speed, the bird falls from the sky, "landing" exactly on the hand of the trainer, receiving as a reward his favorite treat - fish. Peacocks, herons, hornbills and macaws also appear in front of the audience, and sea lions can be watched in the water arena. Visitors to the park have the opportunity to feel like Indiana Jones, overcoming the Jungle Raid obstacle course, consisting of suspension bridges, rope ladders and tunnels suspended among the crowns of trees at a great distance from the ground. No less interesting attraction - Bob's winding 800-meter track, reminiscent of a bobsleigh track, only summer. There are several cafes and a gift shop in the park.
