Buddhist Monastery De Chen Ling
Nepal, Pokhara

De Chen Ling Buddhist Monastery is located near Seti Gondaki Gorge and the famous landmark KI Singh Bridge across the Seti River. This is a stronghold of centuries-old religious service, a corner of peace and tranquility among the booming civilization, hidden behind the orange walls of the monastery buildings. Monks and novice boys of various ages live here. Their day is spent in meditation, prayer and training. Worldly people also visit the monastery, offering food and their services to the servants and inhabitants of this holy place. It is said that by helping a monastery, a person too weak to become a monk can also purify his karma through humble service or generous alms.
