City Hall
Myanmar, Yangon

City Hall is the place where the Yangon administration is located - YCDC. The building is a good example of syncretic Burmese architecture, which thanks to the traditional tiered roof is called pyatthat. The building was created by Burmese architect U Tin, who also worked on the creation of a central railway station. Construction began in 1926 and was completed in 1936.
