Built in 1622 and 1638, this fort, together with Fort Mount, provided invaluable assistance in repelling the Dutch invasion attempt in 1622. Inside the fortress stands the Guia chapel, built around 1622, and a lighthouse. Fort Guiya has a trapezoidal shape and covers an area of 800 square meters. The lighthouse located in the fort is located in a 15-meter tower with a diameter of 7 meters at the base and 5 meters at the top. At the top of the lighthouse there is a circular observation deck where a lantern is installed, which can be reached via an internal spiral staircase.
