Bindyabasini Temple in Pokhara

Bindyabasini Temple is located on a small hill in northern Pokhara. This is one of the most popular temples visited by Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims all year round.
The temple is located in the Moharia Tol district, a 20-minute walk from the center of Pokhara. All types of local transport are available to get to it.
On Sundays, many people come here to perform a worship service - puja. At the foot of the hill on which the temple is located, there is a small garden where visitors can rest surrounded by lush vegetation, trees and flowers. There is also a small pond with fancy fish of all colors and sizes. The temple is spread over a large territory, attracting numerous guests to explore its surroundings.
Bindyabasini Temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhagavati - one of the manifestations of Shakti. Believers flock here to make a sacrifice, and on Sundays a fun fair is held in the park.
