Dance River Park
Jamaica, Ocho Rios

The Dance River Park and Waterfalls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. There are not many places that the Arawaki call “Xaumaka” - the land of rivers and springs. The Spaniards called the area "Las Correras" - waterfalls or springs, and this is really one of the most beautiful places on the island.
Not far from Ocho Rios, one of the fastest growing resort centers in Jamaica, is the Park and the Dancing River Falls. Small convex streams are usually associated with warm springs flowing in limestone caves. This park, with its proximity to the sea, makes the Dance River a one-of-a-kind place for relaxation and excursions.
