Abu Dhabi Performing Arts Center The art center by London-based architect Zaha Hadid is part of a large-scale project on the artificial island of Saadiyat, 500 meters from the large island of Abu Dhabi. The Saadiyat Island Development Project, expected to be completed by 2018, will be one of the most expensive projects in Abu Dhabi. <br>The new museum complex on the capital's Saadiyat Island will house two of the most famous museums in the world - the Guggenheim Museum and the Louvre. <br>The construction of grandiose cultural facilities, including the Performing Arts Center, according to the project of the UAE authorities should turn Saadiyat Island into a world-class cultural center. <br>The concept of the Abu Dhabi Art Center was built on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's passion for falconry. Reaching a height of 62 meters, the building of futuristic architecture gradually turns towards the water. The complex will have 5 theaters: a concert hall, a music hall, an opera house, a drama stage and a multifunctional hall for 6,300 people. Panoramic windows will be installed in the foyer of all five halls. One of the concert halls will be located on the upper tier. There will be access to sunlight, and through a huge window behind the stage the audience will be able to admire views of the city and the sea.
