Almas Tower or Diamond Tower is a super-tall skyscraper in the city of Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates, the administrative center of the emirate of Dubai. The 363-meter-tall building is the third tallest skyscraper in Dubai after Emirates Park Towers and the world's tallest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa. The building, which has 74 floors (68 above ground and 5 underground), is located in the middle of an artificial island in the center of Jumeirah Lake Towers. The building houses the Dubai Diamond Exchange and offices of companies involved in the sale and processing of diamonds, precious stones and pearls. The building also houses the Dubai Gems Clubt, the Dubai Pearl Exchange, The Kimberley Process Certification office, conference rooms, meeting rooms and offices of companies involved in the secure transportation of precious stones. The Diamond Tower skyscraper took eighth place in the prestigious The Emporis Skyscraper Award 2010 competition.
