Bait Al Waqeel is the first office building built in Dubai in 1934 by the late Sheikh Rashid. The building, restored in 1995, is located on the shore of the bay, near the Abra water taxi stop. Bait Al Wakeel houses a museum dedicated to fishing and maritime traditions in Dubai, as well as Turathi Restaurant, which specializes in seafood and Arabic dishes.
