King Nikola's Palace in Cetinje served as the official royal residence of King Nikola I Petrović-Njegoš, the last ruler of Montenegro. Constructed in the second half of the 19th century, the building functioned as the center of state power and the royal family's home until the country's incorporation into the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes in 1918.
