To see the Notre Dame Cathedral is not necessary to go to Paris. There is a place in Belarus in which a church of amazing beauty has been preserved, very similar to the real Notre Dame de Paris ...
The Trinity Church was designed by the architect A.I. Alshalovsky in the Neo-Gothic style and was built in 1899-1903 on the site of a wooden church (1526) by the Vilnius architect Vaclav Mikhnevich. Gervyatsky church is one of the three highest temples in Belarus (61 m) and, undoubtedly, one of the best examples of the neo-Gothic style. The Holy Trinity Church is the only one in Belarus, in the architecture of which all the rules and rules of Gothic are observed. The altar compositions and pulpit are made in the Neo-Gothic style. In front of the temple are several wooden crosses with rich carvings, which is typical for Lithuanian churches.
The beauty of the church strikes not only from the outside. The whole interior creates artistic harmony. Another highlight of the Gervyatsky church is that services are held in three languages - Belarusian, Polish and Lithuanian.
