Church of the Holy Right Prince Alexander Nevsky, Baranavichy
Belarus, Baranovichi

Earlier, in the center of Baranavichy there was a cemetery church in honor of the Holy Right Prince Alexander Nevsky and a cemetery. After World War II, the church was demolished in connection with the redevelopment of the city. Later, when the idea arose of building a temple in Baranavichy, they decided to name it in memory of the destroyed church in honor of St. Alexander Nevsky.
In 1993, construction began on the lower church of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk, which was consecrated on June 5, 1995. The construction of the upper temple lasted three years. The consecration of the upper temple was performed on September 6, 1998.
In 2000, a church and parish house was built, in 2003, a water-sanctuary chapel, and in 2011, a gate bell tower.
There is a Sunday school for children and adults at the church of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky. The temple works closely with charitable organizations: the Center for the Corrective Development of Children with Disabilities, the Society for the Visually Impaired in the City of Baranovichi, the Territorial Center for Public Services, and the Belarusian Association for Assisting Young Disabled People and Mothers of Children with Disabilities. At the temple there is a labor workshop for people with disabilities PUE "Be together."
