The Tobacco Museum appeared as a result of an attempt to collect bit by bit and unveil the history of the appearance of tobacco in Andorra, and at the same time attempts to restore and protect the very symbolic place where this story actually happened: an old factory, later known as “Cal Rafelo”. The museum offers you a detailed tour of the factory, where they will tell you about the process of work at the factory, about which machines were involved in production, how work was organized during the years the factory was functioning, how production changed in the 30s, during the period of global mechanization. During your trip to the factory you will be accompanied by voices: male and female, commenting on all sections of the exhibition.
