Runder-brunnen - Iron-containing sodium chloride

This source was discovered in 1788 during a search for salt sources for salt extraction. Since 1841 it has been used for medicinal baths, and today for inhalation (Cooling tower). The name comes from the round shape of the source, which at the end of the 18th century was unusual. The source was considered and is still one of the attractions of Bad Kissingen - its unusual feature is that from time to time it rises and settles again.
Application area:
Auxiliary therapy for:
• Problems of the cardiovascular system
• Diseases of the respiratory tract (salt air in Gradirn)
Contraindications: therapeutic baths are prohibited in severe heart failure and immediately after heart attack !!!
