Robevu Palace is the most famous family estate of Macedonia. The building is considered one of the highest and most representative buildings of urban architecture in Macedonia of the 19th century, is under the tutelage of the Office for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. The house was built in 1825, a year later it was burned and restored the next year. Today, the palace is a massive four-story building of classical architecture. The pearl of the palace is the National Archaeological Museum located there, an ethnological exhibition, artifacts from the Robeva family foundation, as well as works by the Ohrid school of wood carving. The museum is famous for its archaeological artifacts, among them golden death masks, minted silver goblets, bronze helmets. The museum’s collection also contains a collection of unique coins, numbering 9,000 copies.
