Mushrif Park is the largest and oldest park in Dubai, the largest city of the United Arab Emirates, the administrative center of the emirate of Dubai. The park was founded in 1980 and significantly expanded in 1989. Mushrif Park is spread over an area of 526 hectares beyond the Mirdif district, 15 km from the city center of Dubai.
The main attraction of Mushrif Park is an international village, where 13 types of houses of various cultures and countries are located. There are a Danish mill and a Thai pagoda, an African hut and an Indian wigwam, an English park with houses representing the culture of the United Arab Emirates themselves, as well as the culture of Indonesia, Norway, China and Japan.
The territory of the park Mushrif is surrounded by greenery. The park has more than 30 thousand different shrubs and trees. Here are concentrated the most diverse species of shrubs, trees and flowers growing throughout the Emirates. The park is decorated with alpine hills, rock gardens, fountains and large man-made lakes.
Mushrif Park is so huge that it is allowed to travel on its own cars. On the open spaces of the park there is a small amusement park for children, equipped playgrounds and a mini zoo, inhabited mainly by birds and rabbits, with which you can play. The park has a riding school, 25-meter pools, a park train, picnic areas, as well as several restaurants and snack bars.
The park is popular among both locals and tourists.
