Waterland Waterpark is located 8 km from Thessaloniki, in the village of Tagarades. It was opened in 1994, covers an area of 150,000 square meters and is one of the largest water parks in Greece. Waterland has plenty of water attractions for adults and children - Pirate Island, Crazy River, artificial wave pool, Big slides, ski slides, children's pool, Zen pool with waterfalls and Tarzan pool, where you can test your dexterity and strength by moving from one shore to another with ropes and platforms. The water park has one of the most advanced automatic control systems for water filtration, which ensures its purity for 24 hours. The water park also has a children's playground, basketball and volleyball courts, tennis courts, a rental point for children’s mini-cars, a games room, restaurants, bars, cafes and a souvenir shop. The water park hosts various shows, entertainment events and performances, animators work. More than 130,000 people visit Waterland Waterpark annually.
