Museum of Cycladic Art
Greece, Athens

Founded by one of the richest families in Greece, the Cycladic Art Museum houses an outstanding collection of Cycladic artifacts dating from the Bronze Age. Here you can see many mysterious marble statuettes, whose slender shapes delighted Picasso, Modigliani and Brancusi. Another collection is dedicated to Greek art from the Bronze Age to the 6th century CE. A glass corridor connects the main building with the magnificent adjoining Statatos mansion, where temporary exhibitions are held.
