The J. R. O'Neill Botanical Garden was established in 1979 at the initiative of Governor J. R. O'Neill. The area of the garden is 2.87 acres; many exotic tropical plants grow on its territory.
Seymour Tower is located 2 km from the southeast coast of Jersey, on one of the largest tidal reefs in the world. It was erected in the 18th century as part of the island's defensive system.
Loblolly Bay is a line of a snow-white beach, next to which there is a coral reef. Palm trees and other tropical trees create the perfect crescent shape, repeating the contour of the coast and creating a natural canopy for vacationers.
In 1837, a copper mine was opened in the southeast of Virgin Gord; it played an important role in the history of the island. Today, only picturesque ruins remain from the mine. In 2003, they were declared the British Virgin Islands National Park.
