Our safari begins with a warm welcome and briefing by the Jossec Safaris team as you’re picked up from your Nairobi hotel. We’ll then drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to reach the legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve. After check-in and lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp, you’ll head out for your first afternoon game drive. This reserve is one of Africa’s finest safari destinations, home to large populations of lions, elephants, zebras, and the iconic wildebeest.

Today is dedicated to a full day of wildlife viewing in the expansive Masai Mara. After an early breakfast, you’ll venture out with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive, exploring different areas of the reserve. Be on the lookout for the elusive leopard, powerful lions, massive elephants, and if visiting between July and October, the Great Migration. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged in the early morning at an additional cost of $450.

After breakfast, we depart Masai Mara and head toward Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Ziwa Bush Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, famous for its population of endangered white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, flamingos, and a large number of other bird species. The views of the lake and the surrounding forest make this a photographer’s dream.

After breakfast, we enjoy a short morning game drive (time permitting) before checking out and heading back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or airport. This marks the end of your memorable journey with Jossec Safaris.
