From February 26 to March 1, 2025, the 19th Winter Collection of La Route du Rock will take over the stages of La Nouvelle Vague and La Grande Passerelle in Saint-Malo.
This intimate winter edition of the festival brings a carefully curated lineup of cutting-edge indie, post-punk, and experimental artists, set against the moody, atmospheric backdrop of Brittany in winter.
This year’s Winter Collection features a diverse selection of artists pushing the boundaries of sound:
- Fat White Family – The provocative and high-energy British rock band known for their raw, electrifying performances.
- The Ex – The legendary Dutch punk/experimental outfit blending anarchic energy with genre-defying soundscapes.
- DITZ – A rising UK post-punk band delivering intense, distortion-heavy music with an unpredictable edge.
- Billy Nomates – The fierce and uncompromising British singer-songwriter blending punk attitude with catchy, minimalist grooves.
- Tramhaus – An exciting post-punk act from Rotterdam, combining frenetic energy with dark, driving rhythms.
- Getdown Services – A fresh electronic project offering immersive live sets and pulsating beats.
- Bryan’s Magic Tears – A French indie rock band crafting dreamy, reverb-soaked soundscapes.
- Adult DVD – A new name in the French alternative scene, bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary music.
- Delivery – A garage-punk outfit from Australia, infusing raw energy into their sound.
- Reymour – A Swiss duo creating atmospheric synth-pop with a nostalgic touch.
- Heartworms – A UK post-punk act known for its dark, intense aesthetic and emotionally charged performances.
- Sinaïve – A French band delivering electrifying live shows with a mix of indie and post-punk influences.
- Alva Starr – A promising new project bringing a unique musical vision to the stage.
- Mélanie (from Mourir Bête) – A singer-songwriter known for her deeply moving compositions.
Beyond the Music
In addition to live performances, La Route du Rock’s Winter Collection includes a rich cultural program.
A special screening of “Blur: To the End” will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Blur’s return to the stage. Meanwhile, the conference “Les grandes figures du rock au féminin”, led by Christophe Bourseiller, will celebrate iconic women in rock music.
