Ukulele Festival in Galway

Enjoy a weekend of fantastic music on tiny guitars at the Galway Uke Fest with great local artists and many others from further afield. This new three day festival includes musical workshops, fun events on the street, and plenty of great gigs throughout The Latin Quarter of Galway City.

The Galway Uke Fest has a variety of excellent concerts, street event spectacles, competitions, workshops, and more, all dedicated to the delightful sounds of the ukulele.

Galway Uke Fest Flashmob 2025
The 6th annual Galway Uke Festival Flashmob is set to return again for 2025 with details still to be confirmed. Participants usually gather mid-afternoon on the last Saturday of the festival at An Taibhdhearc Theatre, Galway, before performing twice at popular city spots like Shop Street and Cross Street. 

No need to memorize the song—sheets will be provided—and everyone is encouraged to join in playing or singing. Last year’s performance of “Fisherman’s Blues” went viral with over 1 million views. 

This year aims to match that success!
