Dubai Culture's flagship initiative Sikka Art & Design Festival is back with its latest edition from 31 January to 9 February. Artists from the UAE and all over the GCC come together to decorate Al Shindagha Historic District with works that speak to the future and orchestrate a visionary experience.
Taking place amid the paved alleys of the city's most storied district, the Sikka Art & Design Festival comes alive each year through exhibitions, installations, poetry nights, musical performances, workshops and thought-provoking films. What is Sikka Art & Design Festival?
Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and a member of the Dubai Council, Sikka Art & Design Festival is a celebration of art which focuses on supporting and showcasing the works of Emirati, UAE & GCC-based artists.
What can visitors experience at Sikka Art & Design Festival?
Visitors to the free festival can browse creative installations and photography by talented artists, catch live music shows, attend film screenings or take part in workshops, welcoming both children and adults.
