Live music returns to enrich the summer cultural offerings of the International Museum and Library of Music with the thirteenth edition of (s)Nodi festival of unusual music, scheduled from July 23 to September 11.
The festival offers a musical journey around the world through ten performances to explore and narrate the surprising intersections of contemporary popular and folk music.
This year, the festival presents (s)Nodi OFF, two concerts that will take place on September 4 and 11 in the courtyard of Bologna's Museo Civico Medievale. These events, in conjunction with the exhibition “Knowledge and Freedom. Islamic Art,” will explore the interactions between Western and Near and Middle Eastern music, challenging prejudices and revealing the impact of Eastern cultures on European art and thought. The concert ticket also includes a 30-minute guided tour of the exhibition, which will begin at 8 p.m.
