Visit Maldives Teams Up with Travel Trade Maldives 2025 as Destination Partner

Visit Maldives Corporation has entered into a partnership with Travel Trade Maldives 2025, the leading B2B travel‑trade exhibition in the archipelago, serving as the event’s Destination Partner. The exhibition took place on 27–28 August 2025 at the Barcelo Nasandhura Maldives resort and gathered a wide range of international buyers, hotel operators, destination management companies, airlines, tour operators, travel journalists and other industry stakeholders.

In its role as Destination Partner, Visit Maldives worked to reinforce the Maldives’ image as a top‑tier global tourism product across several key segments, including luxury, wellness, halal, MICE, eco‑tourism and cultural travel. The partnership enabled extensive on‑site branding, digital storytelling and targeted industry engagements.

More than 3 000 pre‑arranged B2B meetings were organised through the TTM Connect platform, providing exhibitors with direct access to prospective partners worldwide. Resorts, hotels, airlines and service providers presented new experiences, exclusive offers and innovative products tailored to diverse markets. Visit Maldives also conducted strategic meetings with international operators, DMCs and travel media to boost the Maldives’ visibility in both established and emerging markets.

The programme concluded with the TTM Awards & Gala 2025, held on 28 August at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi. The ceremony honoured outstanding achievements in the Maldivian tourism sector and featured cultural performances, music and networking opportunities for industry leaders.

“TTM has become the most exclusive platform for global travel trade to engage directly with Maldivian tourism products. Visit Maldives is pleased to support this initiative, which strengthens the Maldives’ position as a premium travel destination on the world stage,” said Mr. Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO & Managing Director of Visit Maldives.
