Tourism in North Macedonia shows consistent increase

According to the State Statistical Office, 77,570 visitors stayed in North Macedonia during November 2025, generating a total of 146,605 overnight stays.

Domestic travelers accounted for 25.7 % of the total arrivals, while foreign guests made up 74.3 %.

The largest share of foreign tourists came from Turkey (12,401 visitors), followed by Germany (11,812), Serbia (3,793) and Greece (3,506).

Of the total nights spent in November, 33.9 % were by residents and 66.1 % by non‑residents.

Comparing the period from January to November 2025 with the same timeframe in the previous year, the overall number of tourists grew by 6.0 %. The domestic segment fell by 2.5 %, whereas foreign arrivals rose by 10.3 %.

During the same period, total overnight stays increased by 0.8 %. Nights recorded by domestic tourists declined by 4.3 %, while those by foreign tourists rose by 6.9 %.
