Strong winds trigger delays and diversions at Skopje Airport

The Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) reported that, due to intense southern winds affecting the Skopje region, two incoming flights were redirected to land at Pristina Airport on Monday evening.

In addition, two other aircraft scheduled to arrive at Skopje have been placed in a holding pattern while authorities decide whether to grant landing clearance or to divert them elsewhere.

Travelers are advised to stay informed by following airline communications and airport information displays.

According to the website of TAV Macedonia, flights from Skopje to Milan Malpensa are expected to experience notable delays.
