La Pizzeria opens at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles on Desroches Island

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island has opened La Pizzeria, a new dining concept located in the Castaway Centre. The venue blends authentic Italian cuisine with the flavors of the island, offering sourdough pizzas, fresh pasta, antipasti and a selection of cocktails.

General Manager Budi Widodo says the restaurant is designed to bring guests together over high‑quality food and a relaxed island atmosphere, using the freshest local produce.

Executive Sous Chef Venugopal Unnikrishnan adds that many ingredients – tomatoes, basil, peppers, rocket – are sourced from the resort’s own farm, supporting sustainability.

Antipasti options include Insalatina di Polpo (baby octopus with lemon‑garlic dressing) and Arancini al Nero (squid‑ink rice balls with tuna and basil mayo).

Pasta dishes feature Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe and Linguine Aglio e Olio, each available with optional seafood such as grilled prawns, poached lobster or marinated tuna.

Signature pizzas are made from handcrafted sourdough and range from Gamberi e Ricotta (prawns, lemon ricotta, confit tomatoes) to Pizza Tartufata (mushrooms, truffle sauce, bresaola) and Pizza Isolana, a tribute to the island with local tuna, lime, coriander, roasted peppers and a spicy tomato base.

For lighter fare the menu offers panini like Panino dell’Isola (smoked marlin, smoked mozzarella, lemon mayo, capers, rocket) and desserts such as tiramisu and a coconut‑milk panna cotta infused with passion‑fruit, caramelised pineapple and island‑inspired gelato.

The bar serves signature cocktails, including the Old Sicilian (Takamaka Dark rum and Disaronno), Isola di Desroches (coconut rum with fresh pineapple), Pesto Martini and Dolce Vita (espresso, dark rum and vanilla ice cream).

La Pizzeria is open for lunch from Sunday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm, providing guests with ocean views and a vibrant yet relaxed setting.
