JOALI Maldives to Host Grand Slam Tennis Champions for Exclusive Residencies in 2026

JOALI Maldives has unveiled plans to host two exclusive tennis residencies featuring Grand Slam champions Elena Rybakina and Ana Ivanović, bringing world-class tennis to the island from November through the festive season. Guests will have the rare chance to train and play alongside these top athletes through intimate clinics and camps designed for both adults and young players.

The program, rooted in JOALI Maldives' philosophy of Creative Living, adds a dynamic sporting element to the island experience, offering guests a unique opportunity to learn from champions in a highly personalized setting.

Game. Set. Inspire. with Elena Rybakina | 17–23 November 2026

Wimbledon and Australian Open Champion Elena Rybakina will invite guests to experience tennis from the perspective of a Grand Slam titleholder. Known for her powerful serve, precision, and calm composure, Elena made history as Kazakhstan's first Grand Slam singles champion with her 2022 Wimbledon victory, before adding the 2026 Australian Open title. She also reached a career-high ranking of World No. 2.

Through two exclusive workshops for adults and younger players, guests will have a unique opportunity to train alongside one of the sport's elite athletes and explore the discipline, focus, and passion that define championship-level tennis.

Play Like a Champion with Ana Ivanović | 22–27 December 2026

Former World No. 1 Ana Ivanović will bring her passion for tennis and championship legacy to JOALI Maldives for an exclusive festive-season residency. Celebrated for her powerful forehand, competitive drive, and elegant style, Ana won the 2008 French Open before rising to World No. 1 and earning international recognition as a modern tennis icon.

Guests will share the court with Ana in two exclusive workshops. The 60-minute Tennis Clinic for adults (ages 16+) focuses on the techniques, tactics, and discipline that shaped her career. The 60-minute Tennis Camp for children (ages 4–15) offers a lively introduction to the sport, helping young players build confidence, develop skills, and find their rhythm on court.
