Air Astana expands network

Air Astana launched a new flight on 31 May between Atyrau, in western Kazakhstan, and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. 


Services operated by Airbus A320/A321 aircraft and scheduled three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with a flight time of approximately 90 minutes.


Air Astana also commenced direct flights from Almaty to Frankfurt on 1 June 2025. Services

AirAsia X increases Kuala Lumpur–Almaty flights to five weekly

AirAsia X (AAX) has marked the first anniversary of its direct Kuala Lumpur–Almaty service with the announcement of an increased flight frequency between Malaysia and Kazakhstan. Effective this quarter, the airline will operate five weekly flights on the route, offering nearly 77,000 seats, up from the previous four flights per week.
