Oslo airport airspace reopens after drone alert

The airspace above Oslo Airport was temporarily shut down for roughly three hours after drones were detected near the runway. The closure was lifted after authorities confirmed the area was clear.


Monica Fasting, the airport’s head of communications, confirmed the reopening in an email, as reported by ANSA. She asked passengers to proceed to the airport as usual.

Radisson Hotel Group has opened the Radisson RED Oslo City Centre in the Norwegian capital, which has been branded as a verified net zero hotel.


The 118-room hotel is based in a renovated building in central Oslo and was formerly a Park Inn by Radisson property. It becomes the company’s second net zero property after the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre in the UK.
