IATA Focus Africa to Highlight Safety, Connectivity and Operational Efficiency

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that the 2026 edition of the IATA Focus Africa conference will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 29‑30 April 2026. The event, hosted by Ethiopian Airlines, will be organized under the theme “Elevating Aviation Safety, Connectivity, and Operational Efficiency in Africa”.

Ethiopian resumes flights to Liberia

Ethiopian Airlines will resume its flights to Monrovia, Liberia, from November 30.


The airline will offer three weekly flights to the Liberian capital.


Flight ET933 will depart Addis Ababa on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30 am and arrive in Monrovia at 1:50 pm. Return flight ET932 will depart Monrovia every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 10:20 am, arriving in Addis Ababa

Ethiopian to resume flights to Monrovia

From November 30, Ethiopian Airlines will resume flights to Monrovia (ROB), Liberia, after a 14-year hiatus.


Flights are subject to government approval.
