Foreign tourist departures Iceland hit 200 000 in October

According to the Icelandic Tourist Board, around 200 thousand foreign travelers* departed from Iceland via Keflavík Airport last October, showing a 6.2% decrease compared to October 2024. Americans accounted for roughly one-fourth of all departures.


Departures of Icelanders totaled approximately 56 thousand in October, representing a 3.0% increase from the same month last year.
