This November, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort welcomes back celebrated mixologist and Diageo World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2025, Felice Capasso, as part of its exclusive Tastemaker Series.
Known for his technical mastery and creative approach to flavors, Capasso will host a series of intimate masterclasses and a signature bar takeover, offering guests a unique opportunity to explore world-class cocktail artistry in one of the Maldives' most iconic destinations.
Events will be held at the resort's stunning overwater Whale Bar, inspired by a whale shark and suspended above the turquoise lagoon, where guests can enjoy Capasso's award-winning style against panoramic Indian Ocean views. His program blends classical precision with modern creativity, reflecting his global reputation.
On November 7, a complimentary Master Cocktail Class at Whale Bar will introduce guests to the foundations of modern mixology, focusing on technique, balance, and the stories behind exceptional drinks.
On November 9, an exclusive Master Cocktail Class with Canapés will take place at T•Pan, the signature overwater teppanyaki venue. Limited to a small group, this session pairs bespoke cocktails with refined culinary accompaniments for a multi-sensory experience.
The residency culminates on November 10 with a three-hour Bar Takeover at Whale Bar, where Capasso will present a specially curated cocktail menu created exclusively for the evening. Guests can expect innovative flavor combinations, refined presentation, and the vibrant energy of a world-class bartender.
