Albania’s Vlora sees early surge of visitors to Adriatic coast

The coastal city of Vlora in Albania is experiencing a significant early-season increase in tourist arrivals. Although the official beach season has not yet begun, both domestic and international visitors are already flocking to this southern city to enjoy the warm spring sunshine, with some even taking a dip in the sea, as reported by CE Report citing ATA.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a photograph on social media from a balcony overlooking the city, describing the view as a “peaceful panorama of Vlora amidst blooming flowers.”

Vlora is one of Albania's premier tourist destinations, situated at the meeting point of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. The city offers a diverse range of cultural and natural attractions. In addition to the beaches of the Bay of Vlora, popular destinations for boat excursions include Sazan Island and the Karaburun Peninsula, which are frequently visited by tourists departing from the city port.

Often hailed as a jewel of the Albanian Riviera, Vlora is attracting a growing number of visitors this season, drawn by its rocky coastline and crystal-clear waters.
