Albania’s Puka transforms into alpine destination

Puka has become one of the most distinctive tourist attractions in northern Albania, establishing itself as a premier year-round travel destination.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of a major investment near the town, describing it as a "piece of paradise."

The video features a resort-like attraction surrounded by lush greenery, tall trees, and a water surface, as reported by CE Report citing ATA.

Public investments have turned Puka into a modern urban center that meets the standards of a unique tourist destination, thanks to its natural resources and geographic location.

In addition to the promenade, the lake has become a popular spot, offering visitors a harmonious alpine landscape.

Puka is an alpine town in northern Albania, 145 km from Tirana. It is favored by nature lovers, those seeking fresh mountain air, tranquility, and inspiration, providing a peaceful escape from the city bustle. The town is known for its vast pine forest covering 400 hectares.

Puka also serves as a base for mountaineering, with access to the peaks of Mount Munella, the Tërbuni Mountains, and Mount Krrabi.
