The team at CURA, under the direction of Chef Rodolfo Lavrador, has once again been awarded one Michelin star, marking the fifth year in a row that the restaurant holds this prestigious honour. The award was presented at the Michelin Guide Portugal 2026 Gala in Funchal, celebrating the finest culinary talents in the country.
Chef Lavrador highlighted that the distinction reflects the collective dedication, creativity and passion of the whole team. He added that the recognition motivates them to continue evolving and to explore new ways of expressing Portuguese gastronomy.
General Manager Guilherme Costa of Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon praised the achievement, emphasizing that maintaining a Michelin star for five consecutive years is a testament to the exceptional teamwork of Chef Lavrador, Sous‑Chef Marina Garcia, Restaurant Manager Diogo Martinho and the entire staff.
CURA offers two tasting‑menu concepts: a ten‑course journey and a more concise five‑course version, both available with vegetarian options. The menus showcase contemporary Portuguese cuisine, built around the finest local ingredients and a commitment to innovation.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts continues to hold the highest number of Michelin stars among luxury hospitality brands worldwide, and CURA contributes to that legacy.
With 28 seats, CURA operates for dinner only, from 19:00 to 22:00.
