Skopje International Airport, managed by TAV Macedonia, has been honoured with the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award in the “Easiest Airport Journey in Europe” category, presented by Airports Council International (ACI).
This marks the eleventh time the airport has received an ASQ award, reflecting consistently high scores from passenger satisfaction surveys that evaluate check‑in and baggage handling, security procedures, signage and overall ease of movement.
Nejat Kurt, General Manager of TAV Macedonia, said that the repeated recognition confirms the airport’s steady operational excellence and its focus on efficiency, reliability and passenger experience, especially after serving a record‑breaking 3 million travellers in 2025.
Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World, highlighted that the award demonstrates Skopje Airport’s commitment to listening to travelers and continuously improving the journey for all users.
The airport is part of a European ASQ panel that includes 20 airports handling 2‑5 million passengers annually, such as facilities in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Estonia, as well as fellow TAV‑operated Zagreb and Tbilisi airports.
Historically, Skopje Airport won the “Best Airport in Europe” award for airports up to 2 million passengers in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018, and has been recognised in the 2‑5 million passenger segment from 2019 through 2024.
