Minor Hotels, the international hospitality group operating more than 560 properties worldwide, has announced the appointment of Milan Jajčanin as the new Hotel Manager of Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles. The move strengthens the leadership team of the resort as it continues to develop its presence in the Indian Ocean region.
Milan arrives with extensive experience in hotel operations and food‑and‑beverage management. His career has been marked by a focus on service quality, team development and consistent guest experience. Known for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach, he has previously driven performance improvements across multiple departments, emphasizing standards and a people‑first philosophy.
In his new role, Milan will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the 192‑room resort, collaborating closely with senior staff to reinforce operational discipline, boost guest satisfaction and nurture a high‑performing, engaged workforce.
“I am excited to join Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles at a pivotal moment,” said Milan Jajčanin. “Our focus will be on delivering reliable service standards, fostering teamwork and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable impression.”
Cluster General Manager Naji Esta added, “Milan’s operational expertise, calm leadership style and dedication to service excellence will be vital as we continue to raise performance and guest experience at the resort.”
Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles is situated on the western coast of Mahé, about a half‑hour drive from Seychelles International Airport. After a comprehensive refurbishment completed in June 2025, the property now features upgraded rooms with lagoon access, an expanded pool area, several dining venues, bars, an AvaniSpa and a curated programme of cultural activities.
The Avani brand’s development pipeline includes several openings slated for 2026 and beyond, such as Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane in Laos, Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel in Malaysia (both Q2 2026), Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel in Australia (Q2 2026), Avani Queenstown in New Zealand (Q3 2026) and Avani Wollongong in Australia (2027).
