According to Eurostat figures, the Adriatic part of Croatia secured the second position among European Union regions for demand of short‑term tourist accommodation booked through online platforms in Q2 2025. It was surpassed only by Spain’s Andalusia and outperformed France’s Île‑de‑France.
Andalusia led the market with 13.3 million overnight stays during the same period, as reported by CE Report citing HINA.
The Croatian region recorded 9.6 million nights, while Île‑de‑France registered 9 million, placing it third.
The twenty most popular tourist regions for summer 2025 bookings on digital platforms were distributed across five EU countries: Spain and France each contributed six regions, Italy five, Portugal two, and Croatia one.
