From 20 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 the Republic of San Marino will host the 23rd edition of Il Natale delle Meraviglie – Una Storia Senza Tempo. The historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will become a continuous festive venue offering markets, shows, a skating rink and a wide range of family‑friendly attractions.
Key attractions
- Villaggio Senza Tempo (Campo Bruno Reffi) – a dedicated area for children with creative workshops, a wooden horse carousel, a “Magic Train”, an enchanted forest and, until 25 December, a meeting with Santa Claus.
- Living Nativity – on 20‑21 December, actors from Montegiardino will recreate the traditional Nativity scene at Piazzale Domus Plebis.
- Micro‑shows – a daily programme of short performances, including:
- 24 December – “Pillibora & Elfio” on trampolines.
- 25 December – clown Otto Panzer’s circus act.
- 26 December, 30 December, 1 January, 5 January – “Kalù & Pappo Natale” and a Mini‑Circus Lab for children aged 5‑12.
- 27 December, 29 December, 2 January – “La Combriccola dei Lillipuziani” (juggling and street animation).
- 28 December – marching band “Babbi Natale”.
- 3‑4 January – choir “The Colours of Freedom”.
New Year’s celebration
On 31 December the city will host “Capodanno – 2000 Che Stories!” in Piazza Sant’Agata, featuring music from the 2000s, a DJ set by Simone Dei Tos, a midnight toast with panettone and sparkling wine, and a party that will run until 02:00.
Historic train rides
The electric locomotive AB03 of the historic “Treno Bianco Azzurro” will run on 21 December, 26 December (afternoon), 28 December, 4 January and 6 January, offering a nostalgic journey through the city.
Epiphany
On 6 January the “Befana” will appear at the Villaggio Senza Tempo, distributing sweets to children, while musical and animated events will close the festive season.

- Ice Park – open daily with extended hours on weekends and holidays; tickets: €10 (60 min), €8 (30 min), €4 for penguin rentals.
- Guided tours of the historic centre every Sunday at 11:00 (meeting point: Cantone Panoramico near the cable‑car station). €9 per person, includes a commemorative postcard and tourist map.
- Various Christmas markets (traditional, solidary) and cultural exhibitions are spread across Via Eugippo, Via Donna Felicissima, Galleria Cassa di Risparmio and other locations.
