During the winter season, Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler reopens The Library by The Macallan for its third year, offering guests an elevated whisky‑focused experience set against the backdrop of Whistler’s snowy landscape.
The venue now presents a carefully curated selection of The Macallan whiskies, ranging from the Double Cask and Sherry Oak series to the exclusive M Collection. Limited‑edition releases, such as Rare Cask and the newly introduced “A Night on Earth,” are also featured.
In addition to the whisky lineup, a menu of signature cocktails has been created to highlight the spirit’s character. Highlights include:
- Aurora – The Macallan Double Cask 12‑Year‑Old with pear, spiced lime and cacao.
- Cloud Atlas – The Macallan Sherry Oak 12‑Year‑Old, rosé vermouth, tarragon honey and sherry‑oak foam.
- The Reid One – The Macallan Double Cask 12‑Year‑Old combined with rhubarb, sweet vermouth and plum.
- Resonance – The Macallan Double Cask 12‑Year‑Old, plum, honey and verjus blanc, finished with stone‑fruit notes.
A new service called “The Library Lockers” allows guests to reserve personal lockers for bottles purchased on‑site, ensuring their favourite expressions are stored securely for future visits.
The space has been refreshed with warm red and gold accents, an open fireplace, and intimate seating, creating a refined après‑ski setting. Guests may enjoy whisky pours alongside light bites or thoughtfully crafted non‑alcoholic drinks.
The Library operates daily from 16:00 to 22:00. Because of its limited capacity, reservations are strongly recommended.
